Challenges push attorney Jeffrey Granillo to greater heights

It’s human nature to choose the path of least resistance – unless you’re Jeffrey Granillo. The young attorney is where he is today partly because he’s placed himself within environments in which he would be challenged to grow and excel.

Which IRA is better for younger workers?
Financial Focus

If you’re at the beginning of your career, you might not be thinking too much about the end of it. But even younger workers should be aware of – and saving for – their eventual retirement. And since you’ve got many years until you do retire, you’ve got a lot of options to consider – one of which is whether an IRA may be appropriate for you and, if so, what type.

If the market is so good, why do you need a Realtor?
REALTOR Association President's Message

Especially at times like now, when the real estate market is good, people start to ask why they should sell their home with a Realtor.

Before I became a Realtor, someone in another market told me I could easily sell my home on my own. I am glad I didn’t take their advice. I wouldn’t have known what to do if a buyer had come to me with an offer. And I would have wasted several months marketing my home only ultimately to list with a Realtor during the fall as the market was cooling down.

What are your favorite movies? These are the films you stop and watch as you’re cycling through the channels on cable. You know every line of dialogue, every nuance of every shot, and you never tire of watching them, no matter how many times you’ve seen them.

Fizzy chicken
Kay's Cooking Corner

Today’s recipe fizzes! Not sizzles, but fizzes. But before we get to that, I want to give you a few fizzing facts. It doesn’t have much to do with food though.

I received an email the other day about the many uses of Hydrogen Peroxide, and was surprised at all the claims being made about this forgotten, little super-chemical. So I checked it out and found that this little bottle of brown stuff does so much more than bubble out germs on your cut finger or skinned knee. If you are trying to “go green” here’s a great solution for cleaning your house!

Are We There, Yet?

The waiting room was comfortable, but crowded. Business was good. Healthcare in America showing a strong pulse, at least for those of us present that morning fortunate enough to be covered by insurance.

KM was with me because I had been told three times that under no circumstances was I to drive home.

Don’t chew with your mouth full
I Swear

I am always looking for useful proverbs, adages, mottos, and the like. Especially stuff that can be easily memorized. Like “Don’t chew with your mouth full.” And “I feel a whole lot more like I do now than I did when I got here.”
